This album features Abi’s dearest friends and musicians, Thomas Colemanbell (alto saxophone), Jack Smythe (double bass), and Alex Siderov (drums).
Abi states, “I dedicate this album to my inner child. To the playfulness I miss, the needs I’ve put aside and the unconditional love every child needs whilst I seek forgiveness and trust in myself.”
Abi’s belief and love for endless possibilities in improvisation is shown in this album and highlights her and the band’s thoughtful approach to the music. Abi’s percussive and distinctive voice shows her strong influences from Keith Jarrett, Andrea Keller and Mike Nock particularly shown in one of the tracks, Wanderlust.
